DISORIENTATION
Have you ever found yourself in a place, looking around and realizing you're surrounded by things and people, yet still feeling incredibly alone? Have you ever felt like the world around you was making a lot of noise, but all you could hear was the buzzing of silence and emptiness? Have you ever felt like a stranger in the streets of your own city? Among the walls of your home? In the embraces of those you know?
Disorientation.
Your head spins and suddenly a state of confusion takes over, but it's a different kind of confusion, a state of alienation that lightens the soul, that doesn't make you afraid to show yourself as you are, because people's eyes seem to be looking elsewhere, not in your direction.
And that's where the game begins, your game, the game of exaggeration. In this game, you make a mess, surrounded by the lost gazes of the elders, you do everything to capture attention, to make yourself noticed. You're like a child, limitless and shameless, freeing what's inside of you and baring it all.
You scream, you dance, you sing, you run, and you jump.
Then you stop.
Someone looks at you.
Now there are two of you.
You both scream, dance, sing, run, and jump.
DISORIENTATION
Ti è mai capitato di trovarti in un posto, di guardarti attorno e di renderti conto di essere circondato di cose e persone ma di sentirti comunque estremamente solo?
Ti è mai capitato che il mondo attorno a te facesse un gran rumore ma tu sentissi solo il ronzio del silenzio e del vuoto?
Ti è mai capitato di sentirti uno straniero ma nelle strade della tua città? Tra le pareti della tua casa? Negli abbracci di chi conosci?
Disorientamento.
La testa che gira ed è un attimo che uno stato di confusione ti prende, ma una confusione diversa, uno stato di straniamento che alleggerisce l’anima, che non ti fa aver paura di mostrarti per come sei, perché gli occhi della gente sembrano guardare da un’altra parte, non nella tua stessa direzione.
Ed è proprio lì che inizia il gioco, il tuo gioco, il gioco dell’esagerazione. In questo gioco fai casino, attorno te gli sguardi persi dei più grandi, fai di tutto per catturare l’attenzione, per farti notare. Tu come un bambino, senza limiti e senza vergogne liberi ciò che hai dentro di te e ti metti a nudo.
Gridi, danzi, canti, corri e salti.
Poi ti fermi.
Qualcuno ti guarda.
Ora siete in due.
Gridate, danzate, cantate, correte e saltate.
